Privacy Policy

Effective: July 1, 2025 · Last updated: July 1, 2025

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at swiftsocial.org and any related subdomains or microsites operated by SwiftSocial LLC ("SwiftSocial," "we," "us," or "our"). It describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit or interact with this website.

This policy does not cover information collected under a separate Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or other signed engagement between SwiftSocial and a client. Those relationships are governed by their own terms.

2. Who We Are

SwiftSocial LLC is a Washington State limited liability company. We provide done-for-you performance marketing services exclusively for home standby generator installers in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec).

3. Information We Collect

When you visit our website, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Device and browsing data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.
  • Interaction data — clicks, scrolls, navigation patterns, and video plays on embedded content.
  • Cookie and tracking data — information collected by cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as described in Section 6 and our Cookie Notice.

When you submit a form on our website (such as a case study request or email opt-in), we collect the information you provide, including your name and email address.

4. Sources of Information

  • Directly from your device when you visit our website.
  • From analytics and advertising technology providers (see Section 6).
  • From third-party platforms when you click a link to our site from another service (e.g., YouTube, social media).

5. Why We Collect and Use Information

  • To operate and improve our website.
  • To understand how visitors use our site and which content is most useful.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns.
  • To detect and prevent misuse, fraud, or security threats.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

6. Cookies, Analytics, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on this site. For detailed information, see our Cookie Notice. In summary:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — We may use Google Analytics to understand website traffic patterns, page performance, and visitor behavior. Google Analytics is not currently active on this site but may be enabled in the future. If enabled, Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Meta Pixel — We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to build audiences for advertising on Meta platforms. This may involve sharing device and browsing data with Meta.
  • YouTube embeds — Our site embeds videos from YouTube (Google). These embeds may set cookies or collect data subject to Google's privacy policy.

7. How Information Is Shared or Disclosed

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — Analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) that process data on our behalf or in connection with their own services.
  • Legal requirements — When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • Protection of rights — To protect the rights, property, or safety of SwiftSocial, our users, or the public.

8. Service Providers and Third Parties

Key third-party services currently in use on this website:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics (may be enabled in the future)
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — advertising measurement
  • YouTube (Google LLC) — embedded video content
  • Calendly or similar scheduling tool — external booking links

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review those policies directly.

9. Data Retention

We retain website analytics data for the default retention periods set by the respective analytics platforms. Personal information submitted through forms (such as email addresses and names) is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us (see Section 19).

10. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information processed through this website, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Choices and Rights

You can control information collection in several ways:

  • Browser settings — Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. This may affect site functionality.
  • Google Analytics opt-out — If Google Analytics is enabled in the future, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
  • Meta ad preferences — Adjust your ad settings through your Facebook/Instagram account or at Meta Ad Preferences.
  • Do Not Track — See Section 14.

If you wish to make a privacy-related request, see Section 19.

12. California Disclosures

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We do not sell personal information as that term is traditionally understood.

Our use of the Meta Pixel and similar advertising technologies may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA/CPRA. If you wish to opt out of this activity, you may:

  • Use browser-based opt-out tools or privacy-focused browsers.
  • Adjust your Meta ad preferences.
  • Contact us at the address below to submit a request.

13. Canada Disclosures

SwiftSocial serves clients in Canada (excluding Quebec). Canadian visitors may have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) or applicable provincial legislation. If you are located in Canada and wish to exercise rights regarding your personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 19.

We do not currently serve clients in Quebec and this site is not specifically directed at Quebec residents.

14. Do Not Track / Browser Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently alter our data collection practices in response to DNT signals.

If the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal becomes a recognized standard under applicable law, we will update this policy to describe our response.

15. Cross-Site Tracking and Targeted Advertising

Our use of the Meta Pixel may enable Meta to track your activity across websites for advertising purposes. This constitutes cross-site tracking and targeted advertising. You can manage your preferences through Meta's ad settings or by using browser-based privacy tools.

16. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

17. External Links and Embedded Content

This website contains links to third-party websites (e.g., YouTube, Calendly, social media) and embedded content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted prominently. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
