Current facts when callers need them

Keep your website clear during a storm

Use a dated website update to explain real storm-time availability. Keep requests, booked work and urgent service routes clear.

During a storm, show what your generator team can handle. Check the hours, area and work you can take. Add the update time and name who will check the notice next.

Keep urgent service and new-install requests clear. A web form does not mean a crew is on the way.

    On this page

    Get one checked update

Ask who is in charge of the day’s work. Confirm the phone hours, service area and which requests the team can accept.

Separate a new-install request from help for a system already in place. A person who needs service should not have to sort through a new-install offer.

Do not give weather or electrical advice on the sales page. Keep this update about your firm’s actual service and call handling.

Put a date beside the facts

Add the date, time and time zone. A line that says “today” can be wrong by the time someone reads it.

Use a short block above the main contact choice. Keep it readable on a phone. It should not cover the number or stop the reader from closing it.

    Check the other entry points

Look at the service page and business profile too. A buyer may enter there without seeing the homepage update.

Keep the facts in sync. If the phone route changes, check the call link. A new label does not change where a call goes.

    Name who removes the update

Name who will check the notice and take it down. Save the approved words. Keep a list of where they appear.

When normal cover returns, remove stale limits and urgent claims. Keep a private copy for the next review.

Afterward, ask the office which questions caused confusion. Use that feedback to improve the next update. Do not treat a storm surge as normal year-round demand.

Plan the next check before the notice goes live

Set a review time with the person who runs the workday. At that check, confirm each fact. If a promise is no longer sound, remove it. Use a checked limit in its place.

List all the places that show the notice. Update the homepage, service entry and other pages together. A new time stamp does not make an old fact true.
