Show the actual team
Show the real people behind your generator firm
Make an About page show the real firm and people behind the work. Use checked roles, useful photos and proof with a clear source.
A generator dealer’s About page should answer three things: who runs the firm, who will help the buyer and what work the team does. Use real names or clear roles. Link to work you can show.
Start with the firm you run today. A small team with clear roles is more useful than a grand claim no one can check.
On this page
Name the people and their real roles
Show who leads the firm and who helps a buyer take the next step. Use a role people can understand. Explain what that person handles.
Ask before you publish a staff photo or personal detail. Use business contact routes. There is no need to post a private cell number to make the page feel human.
If your team is small, say what each person does. Do not use stock photos to imply a larger crew.
Choose proof you can check
Use a real team photo, a short history and links to your actual work. Check dates and names against your records.
A badge needs a source and a current right to use it. Do not infer a license, award or maker status from a logo you found online.
- Business name matches the firm people hire.
- Each named role is still correct.
- Photos show the people described.
- Claims have a saved source and check date.
- The office can explain the next step.
Write a useful opening
Keep the first lines about the work and the people. Save a long life story for a separate note if it helps the reader.
Make each role useful to the buyer
A title alone may not help. Add what that person does in the job. If a trusted outside trade handles part of the work, do not call it your own crew.
Keep the age of the firm apart from a person’s years in the trade. Ten years of one person’s work does not mean the firm has traded for ten years.
Keep the page alive after launch
Review the page when roles or ownership change. A new hire does not need to rewrite the whole story, but the public contact path must stay right.
Link to the install or service page from the part that describes that work. Let the buyer learn who you are, then move to the job they need.
