One-page generator marketing plan: fix the first gap

Use one page to link your next marketing goal to crew time, a clear offer and paid work.

    By SwiftSocial3 min read

Build a one-page generator marketing plan around one gap you can check. Name the work you want, the room your team has, the first change and its owner.

Start where the path is stuck. More leads are not the first fix when good requests already wait for a reply.

    On this page

Start with the job you want

Write the kind of work you want more of. A whole-home install is not the same as a repair call. Name the towns you can serve and the jobs you cannot take.

Next, check real space in the schedule. Count crew time, quote visits and office cover. A free install slot will not help if no one can work the lead.

    Fill in this one-page plan

Use facts you have today. Mark a blank as unknown. A guess dressed up as a fact can push the whole plan the wrong way.

Choose a move you can check

If calls go unanswered, start with phone cover. If quotes sit open, start with the next sales step. More ad spend may just add work to the same gap.

Keep one main test on the page. Write what would make you keep, change or stop it. Use your own costs and results; this sheet does not predict sales.

Pick the gap before the channel

Read the lead and job records before you choose ads, pages or tools. Use this order as a check, not a claim that each cause is proved.

    • Few fitting requests: check the offer, reach and page.
    • Good requests, few replies: check who covers the inbox and phone.
    • Held visits, stalled quotes: check the buyer’s open question.
    • Sold work, no crew room: check the backlog before adding demand.

Use it in the next team check

Bring the page to a short team check. Ask what changed and what is still stuck. Keep the old version with its dates. That gives you a fair record of what you tried.

    • Did the named task get done?
    • Did it help the intended sales step?
    • Can the crew still take the work?
    • What one fact will guide the next move?

    Watch and learn

Find the first gap before adding more work

Watch the small lead-and-quote review. Pick one gap, one owner and a date to check what changed.

    Selected section: 14:23–14:59.
