Choose Business Profile photos that show your real team, the work you do and how a buyer can find you where visits are allowed. Keep each image clear and approved for that use.

Pick by what the image helps a buyer learn. Do not set a target that makes staff upload repeats or poor photos.

    Give each image a job

A team photo can show who works at the firm. A shop view can help people find you if you take visitors. A job photo can show the work you take.

If customers do not visit your base, do not use a photo to imply that they can. The image and the profile details should tell the same story.

    Use real, clear images

Google asks for clear, well-lit photos of real things. Do not edit them to change the work or place. Do not show a team or job as yours if it is not.

Zoom in for private details before uploading. Check faces, house numbers and labels. Confirm the allowed use for the exact image.

Keep the original and the approved final file apart. Use a clear file name so the wrong crop is not chosen later.

    Check the visible result

Use the profile’s normal photo tools. After upload, check its status and the public view. An upload still pending is not a public image yet.

Google may show a different image first. Your chosen cover is a preference, not a promise of the first image shown.

Choose the useful view, not the most files

Lay out the planned photos before you upload. Give each one a short job. If two serve the same job, keep the clearer view.

This is not a required photo count. A firm that does not take visitors can leave that view out. Do not use an old shop view just to fill the gap.

Check the final crop on a phone. A good wide photo may hide the useful part when it is shown small.

    Refresh when the facts change

Change a team photo when it no longer shows your team. Check shop photos after a move. Check them when rules for visits change too.

Keep useful job images with their source and approval notes. Do not add a fresh date to old work to make it seem new.

Ask the office what callers fail to recognize or understand. Let those real gaps guide the next image, rather than a target number of uploads.
